Foo Fighters - No Son of Mine

Bomper Studio directed an adrenaline-filled animated music video for the legendary rock band Foo Fighters, for their track ‘No Son of Mine’.

At the time, I was freelancing at Bomper Studio before joining the team permanently. When I heard about this new music video project, I couldn’t resist getting involved. As a huge Foo Fighters fan growing up—having even made a fan video years ago (available on request...)—I managed to secure a spot on the team. I worked on some of the environmental scenes, like the strip club and the church, and animated b-roll shots such as the pool table and bottle scenes. I also helped develop the render style alongside the team using Octane for Cinema 4D. ‘No Son of Mine’ was the first of two Foo Fighters music videos I worked on—I even completed the circle by watching them perform the song live at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff in 2024!
