Prosperina approached me to create a bold and energetic music video for their new single, Boot, the lead track from their album Flag. The Swansea-based band was drawn to my unique, warped style from previous projects and felt I was the perfect fit to bring their wild vision to life—a reality-bending, stomping animation.
I developed the overarching story, opting for a 1950s aesthetic inspired by the video game We Happy Few. The entire project was my undertaking, from meticulously hand-painting each piece of artwork to fine-tuning the animation and incorporating a dynamic 3D section. The finished video was a hit, featuring at festivals worldwide, including a proud screening in my hometown at the Cardiff Animation Festival.
